Ok, I'm going to do it again! I can't seem to have a couple extra dollars
without buying a car! Do they have a 12 step program for this? So, I cashed
in my vacation time and it's burning a hole in my pocket. Let's see, fix the
roof or buy a truck? Hummm, If a buy a truck, I can buy the materials to fix
the roof myself, right?
I need a truck. I have made exactly 0 progress on restoring the 65 320
pickup in the passed three years. So, I need a truck that is not on
permanent display in my driveway like some kind of post-modern sculptural
study on the folly of man.
Here are my choices, which one should I get?
1968 Datsun 520 pickup, Original Bamboo Tan, 72,000 miles, very good shape,
one small dent, everything in working order, bright chrome. $2,000
1971 Datsun 521 pickup, Original Hustler Red (faded but looks like it would
buff out), good shape, dull chrome. $950
One is in Riverside and the other in San Diego, so both are 100 miles from
me. Which ever I choose, I need someone to ride with me out in the Z and
dive the Z back.
