If you can find the right wheel, the 195's fit just fine. "If" is the
operable word here.
I lucked out when Texas Chris sold me the A/R Vector wheels. Suddenly,
everything fit. Even the  fat 205/55/14's. Now I have much prettier wheels,
but I'll still keep those A/Rs forever.

"Better" depends on what you're using them for. Actually, I've run both
185/60
and 195/60 on 14x6 rims and there really isn't a lot of difference. The
195's
are a bit taller, therefore won't buzz the engine quite as much on the
freeway.
They also fill the wheelwell just a bit better and have a bit more tread
width.

On the other hand, the lower diameter of the 185's gives just a bit more
oomph
off the line, and the smaller section width means the sidewall is just a bit
stiffer when put on the same width rim, so the perception is that the
steering
response is a tiny bit sharper.

Choose your poison. Besides, you can always wear them out and try something
else.  ;-)
