I guess that when all is going fine, something has to happen. With my 2 "
exhaust system installed and reconfigured fuel lines, my Roadster is running
great. It was ~ 94 degrees out in NC and we are running cool and smooth. At
65 mph, the engine is running just on the upper side of 195 degrees.

Today, Sunday, I went to go for a ride and heard a strange creaking noise as I
backed down the driveway. I drove a bit further and then noticed a rubbing
noise. I stopped the car and noticed that my passenger rear wheel is almost
touching the fender lip. Fortunately no tire damage. So I turned around and
came home.

I jacked up the car (currently on stands) and took a look. I don't really see
anything broken like a leaf spring.

Therefore, any suggestions? Prior to this episode, I had kind of observed the
rear sagging a bit. Well it appeared to look as if it sagged. I thought that
this could be do to one or all of the following:

1) rear leaf springs shot or
2) U bolts may have loosened up and allowed the rear axle to slide over a bit
(I observe more clearance on the driver rear then the passenger side rear).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As always,

Thanks in advance.
