If you have a compressor, and a 1/4" die grinder, this kit from Eastwood 
will make short work of them.

I bought the kit to do the rims I bought off Ebay for the "R", our custom 
'66, and it worked great.  It inclides two different compounds, a coarse one 
to cut through the oxidation, and fine to bring and the shine.  I keep them 
shiny using Mothers or Wenol.

Harbor Freight has cheap prices on die-grinders if you don't have one.  You 
could also probably use an electric drill, but would be harder to turn this 
way and that to get the various angles.
