In truth, I was born in Michigan, and lived in various towns in Indiana until I moved to Utah 24 years ago. So I know a little bit about the midwest, but the memories are somewhat vague. I doubt I could find my way to the climbing areas at Devil's Lake in the dead of night anymore. I better bring a map or two with me when I drive out next summer! mjb. |
