I installed the Allison unit on my TR-6 in 1992.  It is controlled by a
Jacobs computer and has not given me a stich of trouble.  I think there
are some newer units that install easier but I like my Allison.  I
recurved my advance and added a variable magnetic pickup coil (Jacobs)
along with Jacobs wires.  My car hardly misses a beat even with the
Webers and modified camshaft.
