Since I started this thread, I'm going to pick up the responsibility for
procuring static cling decals.

I've made a preliminary Email inquiry to Joe Curry (of TR/Spit lists) about
his source because his static cling decals are pretty nice. He seems
reluctant to reveal his source, but is willing to facilitate our order. He
said he has done this for other clubs, lists, etc.

Pricing is about $2/per decal with a minimum quantity of 60 each. Final
pricing will depend on the logo detail, number of colors and size. I don't
see a problem with working though Joe, as Amici Triumphi is simply group of
racers; the Friends of Triumph. I will press for his source to work direct
first though. I'll also do some checking on the availability of finding
this type of static cling decal locally, here in NJ.

Hey, Bob Lang, who did the car numbers for VTR-99? That's the same stuff.

No officers, no rules. Hmmmm. I'll go for a simple vote. Is this
acceptable? If the response is good, I'll handle the details, keeping y'all
informed along the way.

What I'll ask y'all to do is commit to a quantity via an Email. This will
allow me to get close to the right quantity on the order (I'll add 10-20%
overage for future demand). Once I have them in hand, I'll ask for each of
you send a self addressed envelope or mailing label, depending on decal
size. Then it's pretty simple for me mail them out to everyone. I'll work
out the details with the non-US FOT members individually.

How does this sound?

Also, who has the artwork (Greg P.?) and can I get it electronically, with
the PMS colors specified?

BTW - for those not familiar with static cling decals, they are fairly thick
plastic film, almost vinyl like, which you apply wet and squeeze the water
out from between the glass and plastic film. They dry and stick using
static electricity. They go on the inside or outside of the glass and are
easily removed (just peel them off) and reusable.

I'm really busy at work, so this process may be a little slow, but... I
started it, so I'll run with it.
