Question:
Has anyone ever got a set of headers that fit, as in, you
take them out of the box, grab a wrench and bolt 'em on?
I spent all of today fitting a set of headers on the Duke, first to the head
and then to the intake. It is amazing how anyone can sell a set of headers
that need so much "fitting" to a car and yet say that these headers indeed
fit that car! I've often had to file a spot here and there on some, but this
set (from a well known manufacturer) needed the full monty. That is,
inumerable trips back and forth to the block/head combo and back outside to
use the carbide grinder on it.
Oh well another task down and many to go...
