In the US, the blue flag (check your mirrors advisory flag, not necessarily
the passing flag) has a yellow diagonal stripe. They teach in corner worker
classes that the yellow stripe helps the drivers pick up the flag,
especially if there is a little motion when the flag is being displayed.
