I would say keep that head for your TR3B street machine & look at the 
head on your TR3B.  Look at the underside of the thermostat housing.  If 
it has a diagonal flat bottom then rework that head for your race car.  

Otherwise look for a head with a diagonal flat section on the underside 
of the lower thermostat housing cast into the head.
