Well, somebody has to say it, so it might as well be me.
The FOT list was originally established as a venue for Triumph racers to
exchange messages regarding Triumph racing. A number of us were on the
big Triumph list or its digest, the Vintage Race List, and the Team
Thicko list. Most of us also worked for a living and found the volume of
messages was simply to high to cope with and were dropping off the big
lists.
Mark Bradakis kindly consented to manually maintaining the membership in
the list so that we could limit it to past, present, and future TR
racing-oriented people.
FOT has evolved, as all these things do, and most everyone seems to
enjoy the historical insights brought to the list by those who were
there and experienced those times.
However, due to the sheer volume of messages, it seems appropriate to
mention this again -- realizing that the only rule of the FOT is that
there are no rules.........
