What's the Worst Car of the Millennium?: The Results</A>

Good News!

Today AOL directed its members to the CARTALK.CARS.COM website, where the Top
Ten WORST CARS of All Times are listed. Fans of 'Click & Clack', Tom and Ray
Magliozzi, of CAR TALK fame on the Public Radio Network, will love the
description of each car that made the list. YUGO tops a list which includes
a myriad (even a Cadillac) from the AMC Gremlin to the VW MicroBus. Two
RENAULTs made it, but NO TRIUMPHs. In fact...no British cars at all.

PS

I don't know if I still have it, but I once owned a hard cover book called
AUTOMOTIVE LEMONS, or some such title close to that. Much to my dismay, it
had a whole chapter devoted to TRIUMPH. When you read the Chapter however,
it was more an editorial commentary on the impact of British Economic and
Labor problems on the UK automotive industry, than it was a personal slam
against TRIUMPH. The overall point they made, right or wrong, suggested that
the British Automotive Industry in general, and TRIUMPH in particular, were
continually automotive pioneers, who often marketed their inovations before
all of the bugs were worked out.
