Quaife lists several versions of that same box. The $1325 is the baseline box.
The heavy-Duty synchro complete box is $1900, while the Dog
engagement box with shift lever comes in at $2550. The HD synchro complete box
with Short tail case and lever is $2250.
There are 2 more boxes with range change which are $3325 and $3825 (the later
having dog engagement)
I suspect that if I buy into this technology, I will be getting the short tail
HD synchro complete box so my starting point will be in the $2250
range. Then I can count on some modification costs to get all the Spitfire
parts to bolt up!
