Dave:

It seems to me that removing the studs would make the spring pan harder to
install. It is usually harder for me to line up holes than slide a hole over a
stud.

Friends,
I'm putting a new front suspension under 3 but this question could apply to
all models. On the lower wishbone assembly the spring pan is held on with
two studs and four bolts. Has anyone removed the studs from the wishbones
and redrilled the holes to accept bolts. I've heard it makes dropping the
spring pan easier when the studs are removed. I had a heck of a time
finding four perfect replacement wishbones and I sure don't want to screw
them up before I even drop the jack.

Thanks
Dave Brackin
