My list might not be contributing much, but here it is from my ancient log
book:

1) I attended drivers school on May 2 & 3, 1964. The car was stock and I
didn't know what was inside an engine.

2) Log books were required in 1972.

3) There is a picture on the wall dated 9/24/77, which shows me battling it
out with some Porsche, which I beat. This picture also shows my first
attempts to flare fenders to make them clear the tires (slicks). 1976 might
have been the year when this modification was allowed.

4) I was required to install a roll cage in 1992 .

5) A fuel cell and on board fire system were required in 1993.

6) Dual Braking System was required in 1999.

7) Fuel sampling valve was required in 2001.

8) Transponders were required in 2001.

I believe that I started hearing about Fiberglas panels in 1987 or 1988. I
bought a Roadster Factory nose panel and one of Hardy's wrecked hood panels,
but haven't installed them yet. I am sure that Hardy could answer this
question.
