How about aluminum?
If you are racing a TR you probably already know about Racestorations engine
parts, but they also make aluminum body panels. While in England this
past summer I dropped by for a visit to the Racestorations shop, (my wife
wanted to see where all that money has been going all these years). My good
friend, Darryl Uprichard (owner), gave me the cooks tour and one of the
highlights was a TR-3 he was building for a guy in Colorado.

The entire tub and all body panels are made out of aluminum. The nose was
fitted with a SCCA style air dam. And the guy ordered 2 extra air dams made
in fiberglass (just in case).

Click this link to see the car with fenders still unpainted and the airdam
not fitted, (notice that little air deflector running along the cowl:

On the other hand, I have some of his fiberglass parts on my '57 TR-3 and
can say they are top quality. You can contact him directly, or if there is
an interest in the group, I could talk to him about making a one time batch
of fenders or whatever anyone wanted at a discount for FOT members, Either
way I cc'd Darryl this email so that he knows the background if you call him
yourself.

Check out his website (and all those 2's & 3's in the photos section) at:

Is there a manufacturer that sells fiberglass TR2/TR3 body panels ?
Would be interested in ones that are flared or non-flared.
