I will be selling a TR3B with a serial number matching the first
production series with the older gearbox, larger engine. There were
comparatively
few of these cars produced relative to other types of TR3s.
This is a California car which was originally white. It reputedly was
purchased from the dealer with the current very faded metallic blue paint (now
appearing nearly green). It is very original, including original wire wheels,
but has been used extensively and is in need of a major restoration.
The car has some of the rust problems common to these cars because the
previous owners lived along the coast. Almost all the chrome on the car is
pitted. However the car is still in relatively good shape, I was using it as a
daily driver for a while and it started reliably every morning.
Whenever it was parked on the street, it attracts attention as well as
