Same for me--I got a pertronix multispark setup and had nothing but trouble.
I really got it for the rev limiter and feel stupid that I didn't just get
that. Now I have a big, combo piece of junk I don't want. I need to get t a
nice, small rev limiter.

I put in a Crane HI-6 just to get a rev limiter but had nothing but trouble
with it missing at higher RPM's. I think when it changed from multiple spark
to single spark around 3500 is when the trouble started. Took it out at the
track and went back to an old Allison and the problem went away. Just
haven't tried it any more. I do want to put in a limiter. Might have to try
one of the add on units.

aftermarket electronic ignition. Most manufactures offer at at reasonably
price a system with a rev limiter. Some also offer an update plug in to be
used with the existing system.

your thoughts?
