On the pad material, I've been very happy with the Carbotech Panther Plus 
pads.  Nice stopping power, easy to modulate (no unwanted lockup) and they 
don't seem to need to be warmed up like the Hawke Blue pads needed.  Plus, 
they are pretty easy on the rotors.
