The funny thing is, there are engine manufactorers, sponsors an lots of people.
They all didn't gave away some championship points, they trew away millions of 
dollars of reputation.
On the other hand, is a driver unable to handle a car that has a week point?
Slowing down 5mph or 10mph wouldn't be a problem for a good driver. As a TR 
driver I can say it is hard to keep my engine below 18500 revs but I do to keep 
the engine running.
