I can remember filling the tank in my TR3A back in 1958 at $0.29 a gallon - 
and that was an Imperial Gallon. Today here in Montreal, gas went from $1.15 
to $1.34 CDN for a liter.  That works out to $4.36 US$ for a US gallon.
