In Savannah, Ga., Roebling Road, they tried to get racers to buy the
farm land around the track many years ago to keep it protected. Not many did
and now the track has more restrictions placed on it. But, it is still going
strong as it is used almost every day of the year for some sort of testing
or filming. But no spectator events. Insurance had them remove the few
little bleachers that crew and family used to sit on and watch from; a
non-spectator track needs no bleachers! Buy the land around your favorite
tracks now and try to avoid having them closed. Barry
