Jim, right wrong or indifferent, the info I have is .001/.0027 clearance
on
the rod bearing and .0012/.002 on the main bearing clearances. When I
put
mine together I went for .0015 each.

A friend has been asked to rebuild a street TR6 engine.  He needs the
main 
and rod journal diameter ranges and recommended clearances but his
Haynes 
manual doesn't have the data.  Anyone have the info?
