Im finishing up the rear end in the TR3 racer and noticed that when I
mounted the Alfin-like drums on the hubs the holes in the drums are =
whereas the studs are 7/16. With no wheels on I can rotate the hub 1/8
clockwise or counterclockwise on the hubs. The Southwick rear axle
conversion uses a Ford hub with the Triumph backing plate. The hubs dont
have a hole for the flathead screw to mount the rotors to the hubs as used
on the standard Triumph setup. The wheel when bolted on the hub holds the
drum in place. Im worried that under hard acceleration and braking (mostly
braking) the hubs could rotate 1/8 on the studs. Is this a problem and
could I mess up the studs? Has anyone experienced this problem and is there
an easy fix or am I making a big deal over nothing?

Thank you

Mark
