regarding welded diff driving technique;
being aggressive does not mean over
driving.  You need to be going fast enough
to get the weight off the inside rear tire so
the rear end is not steering the car straight.
Front end stiffness puts weight on the inside rear tire.
My old 3 would pull both inside tires off
the ground in a right hander with a heavy
driver.  Corner workers panicked but the driver
did not even know he was two wheeling.
I did not have excessive tire wear.
Bill's comments about sway bars and bumps
are well taken and are reason to a) run stiff springs
and a soft bar  and/or b) to have some free travel
adjustment in the front bar available when running
rough tracks.
