Susan...

Sad indeed. Only been to HALLETT once, but that was enough to make me aware
that they sat on the Top Shelf of the club courses I've raced at. They earned
that position because of the 'we're all family' atmosphere they have. I have
never felt more welcome than I did at HALLET. I live an hour and one half
from ROAD AMERICA, and race there at least three times per year. Of course,
it's great. I also make MID-OHIO and WATKINS GLEN each year. All super
circuits. But there is a different, connected feeling one gets racing at the
smaller,
club venues like BLACKHAWK, GRATTAN, HALLETT and so on. It comes from the
people who own and run them, like Mike, his family, and their hands-on style.
May he Rest in Peace, and may his family carry on.
