Friends,
As long as we are on this path what would the group recommend for an
upgrade to my TR6 race car transmission? I'm currently running TR7
close ratio gears in the TR6 case with a race prepared "J" type
overdrive. Worked well until last weekend when I took all of the teeth
off the input shaft and 4th gear. Is the Stag transmission an option?
Does someone make straight cut gears for the TR? If you use the Toyota
box, is it strong enough and can you get a good set of gear ratio's? Is
someone making a kit that doesn't cost an arm and leg (close to $5,000
from Moss)? I'm producing approx. 225HP.
