There was a Schultz character in both. Stalag 13 was the funny one. Stalag
17 was a bit more scary... Great movie, but not uplifting in any sense,
IMHO.
If I recall correctly, the Schulz in Stalag 17 was sort of pushover /
winpy guy whereas John Banner in Hogan was a pushover, but more of a teddy
bear character.
