I'm not sure if fitting a harmonic damper is a good thing to do if the
damper isn't specially designed for the specific engine. Just fitting
something that can be installed on the front end of the crank might make it
worse than better.
Too dangerous for me.

I'll second the ATI unit.? After breaking a crank and the front main cap on
the second motor in short sequence when I used a certain commercially
available dampner on my TR4, I had ATI build one that is definitely a bit of
a "tight" fit on the snout.? I measured everything and sent them the specs
and they made one to fit my design...a bit pricey but way better than
"broken bits"

Now where did I put that harmonica....

The good news about the ATI dampner is you measure your snout and they make
the piece that goes on  it to "fit".  Fit means a little under so you have
to warm it before you can press it on.
