Just wondering how many racers build their own engines vs have them
professionally built and prepped?

Daryll at Racetorations in England makes a set of bearing caps,along
with a new front sealing piece and a steel rearbearing carrier for the
TR6. Probably has the same kinda stuff for the TR4,I just did not
look.  I bought the TR6 stuff along with hismuch stiffer aluminum
sump.  Those items,plus the ATI fluid damper should help cure some of
the 6's crankshaft woes [I hope].
