If he's looking for an aluminum one I recommend Wizard Cooling at
www.wizardcooling.com. We have one of their radiators and are very pleased
with it. We have never had overheating problems, including last August at
Topeka where it was in the mid to high 90's. Ours was the "prototype" for
the early TR4 design but without the crank hole. They do have others of the
later TR4 designs. I have the name of the fella we worked with somewhere in
my files if he's interested.

If he wants to keep the original style steel radiator he can take it to a
good radiator shop and they can get a new core and solder it to his old
tanks. That is what I did for my street TR5 and it worked out really good.
The new core is much better at cooling than the original as it is a more
modern design and as I recall has more rows. Wasn't real costly either,
quite a bit less than an aluminum one.

Amici...

The seven year old racing radiator in Bob Wismer's TR4 (my racing partner)
has a non reparable core failure. He needs to replace it.

Bob is not on the FOT list. I think the finance company repossessed his
computer. Anyway, he asked me if I would check and see if anyone can
recommend a good replacement and a source?
