I meant "long side" for the pushrods as ordered, so they could be cut
down after measuring.  Hard to lengthen the pushrods in a lathe.  Just
looking for the right length to start with...

Umm, no.  If you set the length to the long side, there's the
possibility of having them long enough that you can't get clearance even

with the adjusting screws backed out all the way, and then you burn
valves.
