Thanks for the responses.

This car is an exSCCA racer from the ninties (in
Hawaii no less so it has its 
share of Bondo).  Also, what they didn't take
off I did.  It is highly unlikely 
that it will ever see the street again.

As
to me making the harness, I have definitely thought of that but my auto
electrics are OK but not wonderful.  Most elements I understand with no
problem 
but many times I am hazy on some of the details.  If I had a
schematic, I would 
have no problem.

Jim...I say leave the harness in....unless you're going to
make it road 
racer..The reason is: when the time comes to sell the car, it
will have all 
of the necessary wiring for the street.
