What happened to Road Atlanta?=C2=A0 I haven't seen it mentioned.=C2=A0 Fro=
m a driver's perspective, it was my favorite track, just ahead of Road Amer=
ica.=C2=A0 Of course part of that was due to the fact that my car was well =
suited to that track.=C2=A0 I haven't followed what has happened there sinc=
e I last participated in The Runoffs there in 1993, but I noticed some chan=
ges when I was there for the K Cup a few years ago.=C2=A0 Lots of great mem=
ories from RA!

y favorite track is Sears Point. Fun to drive, great area, the old Wine Cou=
ntry race was great, it=E2=80=99s a bit too =E2=80=9CMonterey=E2=80=9D now =
since the organizers want it to outshine Monterey, so I=E2=80=99ll probably=
skip that and do the CSRG Charity Challenge instead. As Kas said, there ar=
e a lot of spots where you can almost everything.=C2=A0
Road America is my #2. Great track, great facilities, and Elkheart lake liv=
es and breathes racing. I=E2=80=99d rank it a lot lower for spectating if y=
our interest is seeing a lot of stuff simultaneous. It=E2=80=99s more like =
two curves for each viewing area. Big track.=C2=A0
Watkins Glen is #3. Again, a great track, lovely facilities though not quit=
e the same friendliness and open character of Road America. Has all the sam=
e overarching character of Elkhart lake, but with a little less racing emph=
asis. Some good places to see the track with a more open view than RA.=C2=
=A0
Mosport is #4. Facilities are primitive but fun, long way from anywhere, bu=
t the nearby towns are nice. Challenging driving. You need a third testicle=
to drive it well. Never boring. You may find yourself sitting in your car =
after practice, wondering if this is really something you should do. I can=
=E2=80=99t imagine driving it on a wings and slicks car or a motorcycle. Bu=
t they do.=C2=A0
VIR=E2=80=94great facilities, okay track. Hard to see a lot of the track at=
a time, but wow, do they put on a show.=C2=A0Limerock=E2=80=94nice place, =
great area, track is kind of boring.=C2=A0Laguna Seca=E2=80=94great corners=
connected by too much straight. Fun on a motorcycle or a big HP car, but f=
or 2K pound, 150HP cars it=E2=80=99s not the best. =C2=A0Still, it=E2=80=99=
s a fun track but the monterey Historic (or whatever it=E2=80=99s called no=
w) is more of a car show than a race. You spend a lot of time sitting aroun=
d. Lots to see and do, but depeinding on whether you drive saturday or sund=
ay you may not be able to do a lot of the most interesting things. Still, g=
reat show, car guys dream, but probably not every year anymore, like I used=
to do.=C2=A0

Sear's point has to get my vote. I've either raced at, been a car owner,=C2=
=A0 team owner at most tracks in the USA. Sear's Point ( they keep changing=
the name so I will=C2=A0just call it Sear's Point),=C2=A0North of San Fran=
cisco has a several spots where you can see about 70% of the race track and=
still feel close to the cars and see the drivers in the cockpit=C2=A0in ac=
tion. Just wonderful for seeing=C2=A0who has the power and who has the hand=
ling and who has the talent.
