I got a set of competition Armstrong's with a car once and those had much he=
avier duty springs inside. For the Lemon's TR6 I opened up a stock pair, pul=
led the valves and added a washer, soldered the assembly in place under tens=
ion and used 30 WT oil. They behaved very well on track.=20
