We are refreshing the Texas endurance TR6 race car after its mishap at COTA
last year. One of the tasks on the list is to add an oil cooler. We have the
spin on adaptor with no connections. Can I just drill and tap the two bosses
cast into the base of the adaptor? Looks like 1/2 NPT would work with the
casting. Any advice from someone that has done this before? How deep do I
drill? Risk of breaking through into adjacent passages?

Thanks

Greg
