Those bosses could also be used for a watts link setup.  Like Bill, I would
have to remove my pan hard rod to fit this cover (which I am not doing).
With the short (20 min. or less) races that I enter, I don't see diff oil
cooling as a problem. I would also look into modifying a TR5/6 rear cover
which looks like it has more capacity than the stock steel one.
