Assembly lube the bottom half of the stud and tighten them down progressively
with a stud socket. Make sure all surfaces are totally clean. Place gasket and
head on and a small dab of assembly lube on the head nuts. torque equally in
several stages in the proper order according to manual. Torque to a final 70
lbs. cold. then check twice hot (once after a short warm up and again after a
20 or 30 minute session). To 70 lbs.
