That sounds like head bolts to me, not rod bolts

Assembly lube the bottom half of the stud and tighten them down progressively 
with a stud socket. Make sure all surfaces are totally clean. Place gasket and 
head on and a small dab of assembly lube on the head nuts. torque equally in 
several stages in the proper order according to manual. Torque to a final 70 
lbs. cold. then check twice hot (once after a short warm up and again after a 
20 or 30 minute session). To 70 lbs.

This was the hot oil thread. Tore engine down. Nothing in the sump. Checked all 
bearings. All ok. Thrust washers ok, but little clearance.
Now need to torque the ARP rod bolts in the Pauter rods. Looking for help as to 
what is the proper value.
