I was talking to a dude this weekend and he indicated that Prod cars in the 
70's ran dry sumps. This led me to read the rule book and this quotes section. 
Interestingly, the Sedan rules (6.E.17) does specifically indicate dry sumps. 
I'm pretty sure that my friend is confusing the two, but wanted to get some 
feedback on the matter.
