Agreed--the best defense against viruses, etc. is not to get attacked in
the first place.
Since getting my mac I have had no problems with viruses, malware, etc. and
can count on one hand the number of times I have had to shut down and
reboot. The great thing about a mac is not what it does but what it does
not do.
