Volunteers are neat folks.... On Mayf's Site you will notice this time I
got several pictures of these folks... just my way of saying thanks...
David is but one of the many folks it takes to put on a meet...
I am sure the SCTA has the same number of dedicated folks who take time out
of their lives to make this happen... My First trip to the Salt was last
year and Dick and Bob Peirson..(of The Tom Thumb/Peirson Bros. Coupe fame)
were great they took the time to talk to me at length about how the course
was set up and what was going on in general...Mike Cook (Pres SCTA) is a
Family Friend and he also took the time to chat with as busy as he was...
Nice touch this really made me feel like this was the Last vestige of
Amateur Racing.. and a place I could be comfortable without spending
Millions on a Car to have fun...
