Hi Folks. Some of you may be interested to know that the SAE (yes, that
SAE) has just published a book revealing the secrets and facts about
just who designed the Ford bodies of the '30s and '40s that a lot of us
love so well.

A lot of people have always liked the Model A, '32 and '34 roadsters for
a stripped open racecar. The '34 three-window coupe with a drastically
chopped top is an all time Bonneville and dry-lakes favorite. The '32,
'34 three-windows and roadsters, the '36 roadster and the '40 business
or opera coupe with stock bodies have all been big since day 1.

E.T.Gregorie was the artist/designer/stylist who worked under FoMoCo
president Edsel(son of Henry) on body design in that era. Gregorie at
90 is still with us, long in retirement in Florida, very sharp, and
co-operated with author Henry Dominguez to produce this substantial
hardcover. Apart from a very few mis-spelled words(and who doesn't) I
can recommend it as worth the price of $39 plus $6 shipping from Society
of Automotive Engineers, 400 Commonwealth Drive, Warrendale, PA 15096.
Order Item No. R-245.
