Howdy,
        Perhaps there is another way to increase the LSR community >and< 
utilize a 
spec racer. How about BNI, USFRA, ECTA putting together a couple of spec 
racers and selling rides? Give the spectator/rookie driver the full 
treatment, rookie course, a slow cruise@ 90-100 to check out the driver, 
then let them try a fast ride of 140-150.....cockpit video, still pictures, 
the whole nine yards. This concept is used in skydiving around the 
country.....we (the skydiving community) get a return of 3 to 5% returning 
students that stay in skydiving, we pay for our planes and continue 
building the sport....$200-300 a ride? Might work........
