A lot of conversation is bouncing all over the mail the last few days
about spec cars etc. Like I stated the other day the junior dragster
with modifications would work just fine for beginners in the early teens
and not yet ready for a full size car of any description. The main thing
is to get their interest going in the proper direction as far as land
speed or any kind of racing.

There are lots of junior chassis for sale that kids have out grown. We
would not need the hopped up versions of the B & S engine, just the
stocker. The other thing is it takes man power to put on and operate any
of it. Lots of rules must be set and the insurance issue will for sure
be a factor.

The times we ran them at El Mirage and at Bonneville the smiles on the
kids and spectators as well as proud parents was well worth the efforts
by those that put it on. We used our old clocks with a 1/4 mile course
and a 132' trap. I don't remember what the course length at Bonneville
was but the Video I saw was just bitchen. Maybe we can cover some of
this on the chat line. I hope to be back home in time for it.Nuff for
now but worth kicking around.
Glen
