I remember A. J. Stallings, he brought the white Merc. and a red (what else)
Ferrari to the salt in 62 or 63. Towed them both on the back of a flat bed.
He had white coveralls for driving the Merc. and Red ones for driving the
Ferrari. As I remember he didn't think T. Wily should be able to run his
Chevy-Austin Heally hot rod in "sports Racing". He certainly knew how to
travel in style though.
Jim in Palmdale, where it rained two drops today.
