Cole,

Here are some answers direct from my Record Certification sheets:

1) The Phoenix two way average is 231.356. The truck is a 1943 International
K-7. Engine
is a Detroit V1692 displacing 1472 ci.

2) NT II (Jack Costella) is powered by a Nissan V6 in F/FS, record 223.661.
Later replaced by Sm Chev, no record but had a back door in excess of 300
mph. NT III uses a Yamaha R1, records set I/FS = 227.394, I/GS = 226.118.

3) Nick was referring to Mark Lingua's #1167. The engine is not so much
Yamaha as it is a Lingua now. Mark does excellent work with much
experimentaion.

4) Al's final B/BFS record is 381.867 with an exit speed of 395.710 on the
second run for the record.

5) Tom Bryant from this list is the contact for the Tom Thumb Specials.

6) A bunch

7) Mike had a run in excess of 185, They swapped the engine and Mike was
running over 190 when the blower pully left.

8) I'll let the entrants answer this one. I liked it.

9) Larry Detrich drove the Q45. Final record was 200.490 with a top exit
speed of 202.560.
Larry got a red hat for his first time efforts, later spun after using the
lap top to tune more power into the car. The engine is an ex-Eddie Cheever
IRL from Ed Pink's shop.

10) Not sure, these guys wouldn't let me leave my impound area.

11) Yes!!!!
