Dick, are you going to run competitively for some gas naturally
aspirated records?  If not, then have you thought about saving yourself
alot of expense trying to beef up your motor with conventional methods,
and simply bolt on a nitrous kit??  You can make as much or as little hp
as you and your parts desire without changing anything in the motor,
plus not need to turn the motor rpm very high, and later you can
transfer the nitrous kit to anything else.

You can scavenge the needed parts (bottle, 2 solenoids, and a plate) for
peanuts off of the net.
