Seriously, I have use a Van (Ford), continually getting larger until my
latest E350 with turbo Diesel.  It is a perfect tow vehicle.  Lots of room
for "stuff" and lots of room when racing, that I can change to racing suit
in air condition comfort, while waiting in line.  Towing my 30 foot trailer
loaded to the gills is easy,  (even in the mountains) and fuel economy is
surprisingly good.  Considering the lack of aerodynamics.  (Its not like
towing a barn door.  Its like towing the whole barn).....

Actually Phil your suggestion of a subaban (yesh) is a good one.  Storage
boxes on the trailer however are an excellent investment.  With my open
trailer, we never had enough storage.  Hell, with the humongo trailer we
still don't have enough room.  As the little red haired girl has been
telling me for all these years, "We MUST be civilized."  The enclosed
trailer is "her place"
