Keith, list : We have a new member on the list, but he hasn' t checked
in yet . He is a friend of mine named Bob Swanson, and lives here in CT,
like your engine guru Dave and myself . I met Bob while he was restoring
an early 60s dragster that was a local runner, and he still is working on
another old local dragstrip terror : an MG-TD that had an early blown
Chrysler hemi in it ! We would all stop working on our cars when that
thing would come to the line .....it was known as " The U.S. Mule " and
was a SUPER crowd pleaser ! Bob has a bunch of other cool toys, some
with only two wheels, as you might guess by his handle :

Bob is somewhere around the half century mark in summers he
has seen, I think, and I have been bugging him for a few months to get on
our list . He said your New Year' s Day email about the list and lurkers
convinced him to join in the fun . I think he already met Joe Timney and
Dirty Doug when they came to a traditional hot rod show in East Hartford
last summer . I think Bob can add some items of interest from his
auto experiences and love of the old stuff must of us are hooked on .......
Now it' s up to you, Bob !
